I use an MTM hornet (50rd) ammunition box...about the size of a brick! Not very convenient either..

Does anyone know where I can buy neat durable boxes for hornet reloads which can be carried in the field?

Regards...

Many of the on-line stores such as Midway have a good selection of Ammo boxes.

Actually the Swift boxes which formerly contained their 300 grain .375's are the best fit I have found to date failing that I too would look to Midway for the correct size.

I use MIDWAY 505, 50 round boxes!
They are not a tight fit, but they work for me!

It is the Berry's mfg # 404-218-b

this box has tabs on the inside of

the lid to hold a small card for your info

also it has nubs on the bottom so the will stack up

with out sliding all over

The Midway 504 is a better fit.

I just checked the Midway 504 box - is that the price for 1 of these boxes ($13.99)?? If yes, wow, isn't that a bit steep for a plastic ammo box? The MTMs sell for maybe 2-3$. Are the Frankford Arsenal boxes that much better??

Or is that the price for 10 of these boxes? The title on the Midway Page "Frankford Arsenal Plastic Ammo Box 504 Blue Box of 10" is a bit confusing.

I have often wondered how that recessed hinge works - does it mean that the cartridge rows behind the hinge contain 1 round less, or are the other rows extended to make the hinge recessed??

Titan,
In which country do you live? Maybe you can buy them from some other dealer.
As Italian I had the same problem and I found an alternative, thanking Johan. I bought by Vapex
Take a look.
