Hi all,

just got a wishlist email from GunsAmerica with new Lefty rifles and the following popped up:

quote:
Browning Model T-Bolt, T-2 LH (Left Hand) Caliber 22 rimfire Barrel length: 24 inch, no rearsight Overall length: 41 3/4†Description: This early grade two, checkered, left-hand T-bolt has been modified in several ways, first are the scopeblocks for a target scope added, also scribed with electric pencil on top of barrel is a series of numbers (too bad!) The varnish on stock is crazed in places otherwise very nice. Excellent bore and action, the blue is excellent at 98% plus, a hard to find gun with some faults, price accordingly.

The picture shows a well-used rifle, 98% is probably optimistic. Price is $445. I don't care about the looks or collectible value as much as having a functioning, accurate lefty 22LR.

Does anyone have any information on the T-Bolt action? It looks like a straight pull, top ejection single-shot. Is that right, or does it have a magazine?

i had one years ago. wasn't the most accurate 22 i ever owned but if i remember correctly it functioned ok. i sold it but whish i hadn't as it was still fun to plink with. i don't know the serial number range, but some of them are afflicted with the salt wood stocks. god bless you finding a new affordable magazine if you ever need one.
