Hi MAINER! It feels a bit strange for me, a Swede, to explain this to a American Im not 100 % sure if this is the fact but here goes. I think it all started with the XP 100 single shot bolt action pistol. A cut was made in the reciver and a magasine fitted and the 600 Mohawk rifle was born. The Mohawk have the strange looking "dog bone" bolt handle designed for the single shot pistol. The mohawk also featured a full stock, Mannlicher style. The Seven model is simply a Mohawk action fitted with a standard 700 series bolt handle and a classic stock. The floor plate on the Seven is made of aluminum not plastic like on the Mohawk model. I THINK this is a brief history on the Seven. Stefan. | |||
