Best shooting ammo for Rem 700 .22-250?

My friend just got a Rem 700 in .22-250. It has the triangular shaped barrel. We were shooting some Hornady 55 gr ammo in it and it was hitting all over the paper. Does anyone have this same setup? What factory ammo have you gotten to shoot good groups? I believe it has a 1:14 twist barrel.
