I've been looking around everywhere and i can't find the measurement. I havn't had time to go and look out at a spoting goods store either. I'm just wondering because i am trying to figure out how to best stabalize the bullet using the greenhill equation.

Thanks for all the help.

Quick measurements of only one bullet in each brand and weight:

32 gr. Hornady V-Max = .643"
35 gr. Berger FB HP = .610"
40 gr. Hornady V-Max = .752"
40 gr. Berger LTB = .680"

Remember that the 40 gr. Hornady and the 40 gr. Berger are boattail bullets and don't have any bearing surface for about the first .100" on the bottom, if that makes any difference.
