Someone put up a thread some time back that compared 6.5 BCs to 30 cal.BCs......for example an "x" weight 6.5 is equal to a "y" weight 30 cal, this sort of thing .....the problem is I can't find it now.

Anyone remember it ?? Confused Confused Confused

Roger

i don't know which post you are referring to, but lets compare Lapua Scenar.

6.5mm
100gr bc.444 sd.204
108gr bc.478 sd.220
123gr bc.547 sd.251
139gr bc.615 sd.284

.30"
155gr bc.508 sd.233
167gr bc.470 sd.251
185gr bc.521 sd.278

SD-wise you could say
120gr 6.5mm = 165gr .30"
140gr 6.5mm = 190gr .30"
156gr 6.5mm = 210gr .30"

as for BC, you'll just have to check the data for the type of bullet you are interested in.

None of those bullets are particularly heavy for caliber.
