I was in my local gun emporium and he has a new in the box whitworth barreled action in 25.06. He is asking $400.00 for it which I thought was a bit high. Correct me if I am wrong but weren't the barreled actions "parts guns" - meaning they were put together with left over recievers and barrels? So it isn't a "true" whitworth? Would it be worth it? Thanks for your thoughts... SC | ||

couple months ago i picked up a 7 rem mag whitworth, barreled action for $270.... no sights on the barrel, receiver drilled and tapped... looks unfired, as there are no marks on the receiver where any scope bases would have been....$400 sounds a little high to me...ive got a synthetic stock that will fit a light barrel contour for $60 if you pick it up.... go big or go home ........
