Does anyone have any experience or suggestions regarding a synthetic stock for a Remington model 700 mountian rifle in a .260? We are having trouble finding a stock that fits the slimmer barrel.

Talk to Ed at H-S Precision. Also call Accurate Innovations. They will make anything you want. It would be laminate instead of synthetic.......Tom

Just glass bed the barrel and delete the gap. Dies are available for the acraglas so you can match any color from brown to black.

Wrap a couple layers of electrical tape around the barrel before bedding to create a .012 gap for a free floating barrel in the end.

You might want to try the Bansner Stock. They are at Brownells for about 240.00 or so. Not cheap but??? Hell for stout.
