My CZ 527 .223 Rem with Hirtenberger ammo NBT 55gr shoots 0,8 MOA. To what distance would it be real to shoot for example on fox? I know it is a very general question, it is dependent on circumstances /wind, temperature, etc.../
Thanks

In my experience MOA is an interesting benchmark in the shooting sports. If you have a rifle that shoots MOA or less that’s great. Less than MOA is what good shooters strive for.

After 100 yards though the rifle’s MOA means less depending on other forces. Velocities, bullet weight, bullet design, wind speed, wind direction, etc, etc. You need to apply other shooting techniques (Kentucky windage, etc).

In a computer model with no wind, you should be fine for shooting foxes at 300 yards.

IMO ; .223 are good for 300 Yd. on Coyote and under size game . I use 62 grain projectiles which seem to work well enough . Provided wind isn't a huge factor , Temp. I never consider . Then again I'm not out in -20 or below conditions either .

Shoot Straight Know Your Target . ... salute
