Have used it for caribou in my wifes 223. Good bullet, hangs together well except at really close ranges. Kills well. 60 Partition is a bit better.

When our oldest son was app. 7 or 8, he used this bullet in a .223 Rem single shot (NEF) and took his first deer using it. Bullet performance was excellent. The frontal shot was around 75 yards, and the bullet penetrated perhaps 20 inches before coming to rest near the spine. The retained weight was around 42 grains. He also used that bullet/load combo to kill a number of smaller animals (along with cactus, water-filled plastic bottles and anything else he could safely plink). It's certainly one of the best options out there for folks who use the .22 centerfires on smaller big game. I normally prefer H335 for the .223, but with the 64 grainer, it was Re-15 that got the nod as I had lots of it on hand back then. The MV was around 2900 fps from the 22" barrel. Sub-MOA groups were the norm, and this bullet has proven to be quite accurate in a number of .22 caliber centerfires given an adequate twist rate. It is a bit fragile inside of 100 yards in the 22-250 and Swift, however. Bobby Μολὼν λαβέ The most important thing in life is not what we do but how and why we do it. - Nana Mouskouri

For game, don't forget Barnes Triple Shoks. They will hang together and penetrate, even through bones. Aaron
