Yes excellent bullets much easier to tune than the standard VLD's. Berger recommended to me to start 15 thou off the lands and work back in 2 to 5 thou increments with the starting charge weight for the chosen powder in their manual until a sweet spot was found and then work up the powder charge to find an accuracy node with the velocity you are looking for. They were ok in a 264 win with a 9 twist in warm conditions but once temps dropped into the 40's accuracy went away. In 260 Rem and 6.5x284 with 8 twists no issues in any temps and Berger recommends 8 twist for these bullets for all conditions. Have not shot them at game so can't comment on performance the 140 hunting vld's in the orange box are mean killers with proper shot placement. | |||
