Have as Contender 21 inch in 22Hornet..would it be wise to convert to K hornet? Any GAIN? Is there a 22 Ackley Hornet? If I convert, who would do the reaming? Is there enough gain to make it worthwhile?

for case trimming wise and case life it is well worth it

go for the K hornet, any gunsmith should be able to take the reamer and do it by hand should not cost more the 50$, but find someone with the reamer, not worth ordering one

The K is nice little round, get some "Lil gun" and 35 gr V-max, fill the case with lil gun and fire form then fill the case again once formed

Janehal,
Yes, by all means go with the K Hornet. This is a great little round. It is much more accurate than the regular Hornet, at least in my experience. The cases last forever too.
I have a K Hornet in a 24" barreled BRNO ZKW 465. This is a barrel with a 1 in 14" twist so it handles heavier bullets more accurately than the usual 1 in 16" twist.
I shoot the 50gr Sierra Blitzs, 50gr Hornaday SXs and the 50gr Speer "TNT"s. I use AA 1680. My rifle has a longer throat and I use 14-15gr of AA 1680 for about 2950fps.
The other responder is correct in that the K Hornet reamer is quite common and your chamber can be reamed by hand.
Also, dies are not too hard to come by. A couple of places to try for dies would be Lock, Stock and Barrel, Graff and Sons and maybe Midway.
Hope this helps.
Great Shooting.
