What the maximum velocity one can expect from the 6.5/284 and the 130 grain bullet and a 24" barrel? Bobby B.

Bobby, I'll try and run a QLoad estimate for you in a bit, but in my rifles with 24" and 25" tubes, I am getting right at 3000, a touch over with the 25" and right at with the 24".

I wrote Noz awhile back re: velocity with partition vs ab's in factory 260. Seems the PT swells in bore and seals better, faster speeds.....could be a plus for the PT over the AB, though likely meaningless differential in field performance.

308Sako, Would you mind sharing the specifics of that load? I play it safe and work up to it gradually. Bobby B.

This load was safe in my rifle and I must recomend do to the custom nature of the chambering that you work up from several grains lower to begin.
