I have some lightweight AR barrels laying around that you can have. They don't even make good tent pegs. Stick with the HBAR profile, or something similar.

Hey, I'll take 'em if you don't want them (assuming they're not shot out or anything bad like that)! I have lightweight barrels on my ARs and they shoot fine for my intended purpose, which is as close to the original intent--a light, handy carbine for use mostly inside 150-200 yards. I had no problem ringing an 8" metal gong at 200 yards with a 1.5x scope and ball-equivalent FMJ ammo.
