Has any shot any deer with this bulet ? Did it work ok ? I've loaded up some with 42 grns imr 4350 and get a little over 3000 fps from my 22" bbl. Seems to shoot good groups.
Your post is not real clear on which 100 grainer your using. Hornady has a couple. The 100gr Sierra Spire Boat Tail works really well with my Winchester Featherweight and 36gr of IMR 4064. I am very confident using it on deer to 300 yds.

I've used the 100 grain interlock flat base from Hornady a lot for deer and it's a winner. One can not ask for much more in a .243.

Yep ,thats the bullet. I had been using lighter bullets for higher vel. But After last years experience on a huge buck I decided to go heavier. ( I did get the buck, I could watch him all the way untill he fell, perfect heart shot)
Hard luck My wife and I have shot several deer and she has shot several antelope with the Sierra 100gr and the 95 Nosler Partrition. Your 100 gr Hornaday should do fine.
