I just ordered some of these yesterday, but was wandering how fast they can be driven. I thought they were ment for the 22 hornet but one person said they loved them out of their 22-250. He never mentioned if they were reduced any or not though. My intentions were for the 220 Swift at or around 4000fps.

Depends on which 40 grainer. The Sierra #1385 40 grain Varminter HP is supposed to handle 4,000 fps. The #1200 Hornet Varminter will probably disintegrate in flight at those speeds. Don't know for sure on the #1440 40 grain BlitzKing.
