Stevens 200 .243 259.95
Master series Pro Hunter 99.00
Weaver bases 10.95
Weaver Rings 17.95
Sling 9.95

This is the best I could for a cheap beater rifle. Everything has beeen ordered, should get it next week.
Now the burning question The load. I have one can of imr 4350 and the following bullets. Nosler 95 grn ballistic tip, Hornady 100 grn inter-lock,Speer 85 grn boatail and sierra 85 grain gameking hpbt. I want to run them as fast as I can, primarily for coyotes but for an occasional buck. This will not be my primary deer rifle, but if I shoot it it must stay on my side of the fence.
So, give me your choice and load. Thank you so much for the input over the last few days.

Work up to about 40 grains with the 100 grain interlock. Anything you point it at will cease breathing quickly.

Roll EyesFrom your choice you are right on the money.

With 100 gr. bullets and loads of accurate 4350 up to 41 gr. I have been getting great repeatability. thumbroger

Somewhere in the 38-41 grains of 4350, you will find what you need!! The 243 is pretty darn easy to load for, IMR 4350 is pretty darn easy to load it with!! Not to mention the STEVENS 200's are pretty darn good out of the box!!! Probably the best buy out there today unless you want a "kit gun" whereby you need to float and bed it and the trigger job added on!! The trigger on the Stevens is just like the old 110's!! It will probably not register on a Lyman or RCBS tigger pull guage out of the box!! But it can be safely done by you, yourself down to 3-3.5 lbs!!! Lower than that, get a Rifle Basix or some sort of replacement trigger!! You will be amazed at the little rifles accurracy!! GHD
