Looking for loads for the 110gr Nosler Accubond in the .25-06 Remington.
Rifle is a Ruger M77 All-Weather (SS/composite) 24" med. bbl.
Last year I tried a Nosler load, up to 59 grs Retumbo but did NOT get decent accuracy nor expected vel., vel was 150/200 fps lower than Nosler data suggested.
I currently have H4350, H4831SC, RL22, and Retumbo available.
I am wide open to suggestions.
Thanks
HL

I've loaded a lot of .25-06 with H-4831SC.... give it a try.

I typically find the best accuracy in my Ruger .25-06 using Re 22. I'd start there....

In fact the only bullet I use other powders for is the 75 gr Vmax.

I have a Cooper 25 '06 that flat out loves RL-22 and 110 gr. Accubonds. 54 grains of RL-22 that is.

In my 257 Ackley the H4831 was it, until I tried the R22 with the 110 Accubonds. I'd start there if I had an opportunity to do so.

All of them are fine powders.

I played with all of those and IMR 4831.

I went with H4831SC at around 54 to 55 grains. (don't know exactly and it's to late at night and my lazyboy is to comfortable to go down to the reloading room to get closer)
Couple of the reasons I chose it was it grouped best and because I wanted something that I didn't have to worry about temperarure spreads when I could test loads and actually go use them.
