Does anyone have any experience with this youth model rifle? I am thinking of getting one for my soon to be 9 year old for Christmas. But no website seems to have the LOP figured out. It's a bit frustrating to see anywhere from 12.5" to 13.25" for the LOP. I definitely need it to be down around 12.5" to fit my son. Anything longer than that will be too long. Marlin's website does not even list any info on the LOP.

Remington does the same thing on their website. Why in the world would a known gun manfacturer not list the LOP?

Yeah I thought about that too, but the threads I saw on other websites had the rep's at Marlin giving conflicting info to two different people.

So I would only trust someone who has this rifle and measured it or seeing the rifle in person and measuring it myself. The latter has been difficult to come by as the gun shops around here don't seem to stock them.
