Does this barrel require a special fore-end or hanger to achieve the 5 shots into <1" at 100yds. guarantee, or will the standard T/C or Pachmayr fore-ends suffice? George ------------------

They think it is so funny to say "Go Fish" ,Me too :> ) I see the bid is up to 350 $ . I'm waiting till the mania is over. Till then my 17AH is a fun shooter . I love the Martini action.

Southpaw, thats a nice little rifle you have there. Could you tell me a bit about it - I have two Francotte Martini actions here that I got to turn into custom jobs a few years ago and haven't done anything about. This .17 HMR has got me interested again but I would like a bit of first hand info on the .17 AH if you could help out there. Thanks Greg

Southpaw, I have two martinis that I just oicked up for my own personal projects. One is going to be chambered in 22 hornet with an English stock set, case hardned frame and of course the half octagon, half round barrel to complement it. The other Martini being either a 17 Ackley hornet or a 20 Ackley hornet. One day I may have them compleated. I guess I will see if my schedule opens up. Dave
