I tried to buy this ar10 260 Remington a couple of times finally got it ! It is a dpms receiver with a jp 22 inch stainless heavy barrel with a Magpul adjustable stock and a diamond head friend.I can't wait to shoot it wainting on neighbors to leave so I won't hurt their dogs ears .
I wish I could post pictures it's an awesome rifle .This thing was for sale forever finally the guy agreed to my terms them of all things hurricane Irma hit and I got hit by three trees in my blazer going.55 mph and had to wait two more weeks to.get it .I want to ask about magazines thinking about.Magpul heard they were good .I also want to know what's the best long range hunting bullet for this gun ?
I.have a cheap Pentax 4x12 with lighted cross hairs on it now .I might get a bigger scope later but this wreck has me in a mess now finding out how crappy insurance can be and how crappy state can be when they total your car and rebuild it yourself for yourself $500 for nothing .I am thinking 142 grain nosler accubonds are my long range bullets .I am going.to try my favorite lapua 155 grain mega tip bullets which have worked awesome in my 264 win mag and other 260 Remington .
I wanted to make a h&k 91 in 260 Remington but couldn't find anyone to build one so this gun came along and fit the bill just right ! I NEED to change the charging handle and a few other things add a laser and light on it and its ready to rock and roll !

I have a 260 Rem, AR10/LR308 with the 24" DPMS upper. I occasionally shoot the 123 grain SMKs out to 1,000 yards but I haven't tried the 140's yet out of the small case.
