Gentlemen I have found some load data for the .22 Hornet with 45 grain Soft points but no data for the similar bullet weight when full metal jackets are used. Can I substitute directly between EQUAL bullet weights when the bullet construction and purpose differs? I am in great need for a good 45 grain FMJ load to my dear hornet, since the 45 grain softpoints create an awful mess in a rock ptarmigan. I do not want to bring blasted birds to the dinner table. By the way, I am using Hodgdon Lil´Gun, winchester cases, PMC primers and Sellier & Belliot 45gn FMJ. Sincerely Daniel | ||
