i'll soon be ordering a 6.5x284 barrell for my encore carbine. since the gun is a single shot, it will be a short, compact gun regardless of whether i choose 24" or 26" . . .

how much velocity difference is there between the two barrell lengths in this caliber?

I would imagine the 26" tube would turn in velocities approximately 70-80 fps faster than the 24".
