Anyone had both in the 527 action size? Aside from obvious differences (single set vs double set) are there any differences in quality?

One known to be better than the other?

I googled Kriegeskorte & Co but did not find much regarding quality of the rifles.

thanks

Nataniel,

You may get some more results doing a "KRICO" search; typical Teutonic abbreviation for "Kregescorte & Co."

Their rifles were solid but I've never seen one that was an absolute Tack-Driver. Their 600 (.243-308 Win action size) & 700 (standard .30/06 Sprg. action) were representative and seen often enough (I've a Buddy who still shoots his .30/06 Sprg) and there's one on a South African Farm in 9.3x64 I shot (a real Bruiser!).

I know they made rifles in 22 Hornet (here an example) but have never seen a .222 Remington. The vast majority that I've seen used in competition here in The Fatherland were .243's.

Personally, since they've been out of business for years are are viewed as relics; I'd go with the 527's that are in current ptoduction.
