I just had my .257 Weatherby fitted with a 26 1/2" med heavy barrel. I went to the range and here are the results using factory 100 gr Barnes/Weatherby ammo. I am happy!

Gary, that's fine shooting. What brand barrel did you go with?

We installed a Shilen chrome-moly barrel with a 1-10 twist. 26 1/2" magnum contour. I will try and post a picture of the rifle. My pictures won't do the wood justice though! I have an older Leupold 3-9x40/AO with a dot in it. I was trying to cover the bullseye with the dot and not move!
