Wondering if it is worthwhile to invest in a box of 130 gr Scirrocos, 100 bullets at $52.00, for my 6.5 rem mag. It has a Douglas 1 in 8 twist. The BC for that bullet is .571 which is pretty decent. Right now it shoots the 140 gr Sierra Game Kings like a house on fire, but I would like to shoot a bullet that will stay together. I have not had good luck with Scirroccos in the past for accuracy but wondered if anyone has tried these. ____________________________________ There are those who would misteach us that to stick in a rut is consistency - and a virtue, and that to climb out of the rut is inconsistency - and a vice. - Mark Twain | Chinese Proverb: When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others. ___________________________________

I shoot the 6.5 130 Sirocco IIs in my 6.5x57R. Used them on several prong horn hunts over the past few years. Accuracy at 200 is well under MOA when I do my part. Performance on prong horn has been excellent. shots ranged from 85 to 250 yards. Have not tried them on larger game, but would not hesitate to based on my experience. ______________________ Guns are like parachutes. Scirocco is one of my favorite bullets of all time. However, I got some 2nd accubonds in 130 to try first. They are excellent. Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns
