I'm super excited about the 6.5x55 Ohioer is allowing me to adopt into the family, and it got me to thinking. What were the classic hunting loads for the swede? I'm guessing 156-160 grain bullets in the range of 2300-2400, anyone know for sure? I've got a couple of pounds of IMR4831 and a couple hundred Hornady 160RN if I can just find some data I'll be up and running. Just hoping to find a load that shoots to the sights.

That Privi Parizan soft point 140 gr. stuff shoots pretty well for cheap. Was recommended to me by someone here and it's surprisingly accurate. Don't know about the gun in ? though, that's in a Mauser I had built for my tyrant son.
