How does the CZ full stock model work with a scope? Can you get a decent cheek weld? Does it tend to slap one in the chops? Like the CZ rifles, but think the Ruger International is a better looking stock.

If I recall correctly these are Burris medium height rings and the scope works fine. The Ruger 77 is OK but I prefer the true Mauser system. I owned this 550 and a 77RSI simultaneously for a while but then sold the 77. No contest IMO.

thanks for the information. Don't seem to be a lot of 550 full stocks available right now in 6.5x55. Guess I will continue to look.

Joe I have a full stock in 7x57. I have had no problems with the scope mounting system provided by the CZ scope rings. It shoots well too!

I have a 6.5x55 with a leupold short tube low power, easily shoots dime size groups at 100y with factory ammo. The factory mounts are fine to use. CZ imports these in lots to the US. No consistent flow, they are from the EU catalog.

The 7x57 is a great shooter also. Same results.

Both are in the LNIB condition, scoped, zeroed, returned to the safe for some aging, if your interested, ping me m2fun2@aol.com
