Not getting bored with guns, but getting bored with them sitting there in the boxes.

I bought a Winchester Model 70 CRF Featherweight Wood/Blue in 6.5x55 swede a few years back, and since then its had a very nice time sitting in its box in the gun safe.

Anybody think it will be a collector some day or worth an obnoxiously great amount? I am fat on rifles, and don't really need it, I am really thinking about upgrading a lot of stuff, but on the other hand its kind of an interesting piece. IYHO Worth Keeping or do you think I should trade/sell it? (I don't Need the money, but it always comes in handy for new stuff.) Anyone know of a current price?

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

Tough call. It is worth the last retail price, I would expect. 6.5 Swedes are a love or hate cartridge.

I wouldn't mind owning this rifle, but it would eliminate the need for four or five other nice ones I have. IMHO, if you hunt NA you only need this rifle and a 338 for Bear.

I tried to buy one just like it for my wife, but she wanted something else.

If you have kids or grandkids around, it might be worth keeping.

Just saw a thread on the 24hour campfire. Looks like that rifle could bring 9 bills to the right person.

Depends on you.

I have had possibly a couple hundred firearms pass thru my gun safe. Looking back now, I can't say I regrete letting any of them go. I did get to shoot them and see what they were all like to shoot and hunt with. If I have stayed with the first few rifles I
I've owned, I would be looking for something else.
I'm extremely happy with the rifle's I own now, because of the one's I let go.

I'm eyeballing a neat little Ruger #1 in 7x57, that is for sale at a great price. Pretty wood, nice bluing, etc. BUT, I've had maybe a dozen of the #1s thru the years in lot's of caliber's, and I remembered why I sold them.

the only excuse for selling a rifle is to buy a nicer one Big Grin the act of selling a rifle without buying another is, i am sure, a criminal act punishable by having your medical insurance reviewed by obama
