Not that burning powder and sending bullets downrange is a bad thing ..... but economy has it's benefits, too. My Buddy & I have a new stash of .257 Swift 100 grain Scirocco II's for his .257 Weatherby Magnum (Blaser R8)& my 25-06 Remington (Blaser R93). Preferred propulsion options are AA/IMR/H-4350, H4831SC, VVN-160 & VVN-560. Would be interested if anyone has some established loads/experience with these bullet/powder combinations for said two cartridges that may save us burning up range & resource time. Pork Chops are O.K., too 'cept we've already discovered the joys of the .257" Barnes 80 gr. TTSX's; although haven't had the opportunity to put them over the screens yet. Also we keep giving each other looks with a smirk when we're in the hunting lease but don't have the heart to rip a 45-50 lb. Roe Buck in half with the 80 grainers (yet) so we're looking for something with a tad more mass. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Number 10

I've had good results with 4350s out of my 25-06 with 100gr bullets SMK, SGK, and barnes. It is a good all around powder. I have also had pretty good results with RL19.
