I tried the 100 gr TSX with H4895 in my super shadow and got poor accuracy with that combination. Just had a discussion about this at wssmzone.com

I tried 5 different charge weights and got groups of 2" and up (3 shots, 100yds). Did not measure velocity. Shooting Times magazine listed a load of 41.0 gr H4895. MV was 3110 fps in a model 70 super shadow. It was the most accurate load they tested averaging 0.38" groups.

CRUSHER,

I have not tried Barnes in my 25 WSSM, but FWIW I'm getting better than MOA with the Nosler 85 grain Ballistic Tip and Varget.

I got my loading data from the Hodgdon website. Hodgdon shows 40 gr Varget @ 3180 fps min and 44.9 gr Varget @ 3497 fps max for 85 gr Nosler BT out of 24" barrel.

Right now I am working at 42 gr Varget out of 24" M70 Coyote. I have not chronographed the loads yet but I'd guess around 3300 fps.

The more I work with the 25 WSSM, the more I like it and the M70 Coyote.
