I have a .240 wby mag that I am not sure is a custom rifle or an old Wby rifle. The barrel is marked on the underside "Federal Firearms Co. INC Federal, PA *RP*" On the top of the barrel there is a horsehead stamped in the metal. The action apears to be a Mauser action, with Buehler stamped on the back of the safty. It has an adjustable trigger that has an aluminum body. The barrel has a 1in10" twist. Any information on this rifle or the components would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have an amalgam of parts from various suppliers, not an original Weatherby.
