I was putting in my Saturday shift and the gun shop yesterday and a fellow came in to consign a SuperAmerica in 243, spectacular piece of walnut, high polish blueing, with a Swarovski 4-12 scope on top.
The asking price is $2795.00. Too much?

That scope alone here in Canada is in the $1500.00 range. The rifle is made in NY.

Thanks Greg

the yonkers NY kimbers were made from parts left over after kimber went down the tube. As such they are valuable as collectors pieces because there just weren't to many. most of the oregon kimber SA's are in the 16-2200 range depending on condition and caliber. The scope while very expensive probably only adds about 7-800 to the value. Using these figures once again depending on condition, would bring the combo in a 24-2800 price (in the US) i'd offer 2500 and see what happens
