If you're talking about the 25/20 as came in the 1892 Winchester that cartridge is based on the 32/20 case, but I'm not sure that's any easier to find.

There are three cases on the same basic brass: .32-20 WCF, .25-20 WCF, and .218 Bee. It probably wouldn't be too much of a trick to neck down .32-20; expanding .218 might cause some of the already rather thin necks to split, but it is a possibility. I own two .25-20's: A Savage Model 23 and a Remington Model 25. I haven't had any trouble finding genuine .25-20 brass for them, but the original 100 cases I bought goes a long way no more than I shoot them.

Graf's has it here Personally at less than 30 cents each, I'd buy new instead of trying to make it myself. Also, and I'm just speculating here, I think if you form down 32-20 brass to 25, you'd probably have to thin the inside neck diameter. Just another step which makes forming it seem less attractive from my POV. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. I have had 32-20 brass buckle easily while trying to size to 25-20. lost too much brass. gave up and bought 25-20 brass. Just my experience. "An armed man is a citizen, an unarmed man is a slave", Ceasar

I used to form 218 Bee and 25-20 from 32-20. I had to run the cases through the 25-20 die first if I wanted 218 cases. I also had to anneal the necks after I was through or they would split on the second firing. When I bought correct .218 and 25-20 brass, I reformed all of the 32-20 headstamped brass back to 32-20, annealed them, and have been using them for years in my Model 53.
