I started a new project on saturday. I went with fellow AR member (and real nice guy) Trez Hensley out to see my gunsmith. I left him with my FN supreem action,(side safty and outside the bow floorplate release). I instructed him to install a 24 inch Douglass premium barrel tapperd to .600 at the muzzle, and chamberd for the .257 Roberts ackley improved 40 degree shoulder. My plan is to get the rifle back in the white and do some fire forming and testing before I decide how to go ahead with stocking. I have a few stocks I can use just to play with it. But if it showes real potential I will be willing to spend more money on a higher grade wood. at the moment I am thinking of great american gunstocks...tj3006 freedom1st

Hey TJ sounds like another .257 fixation you've got going there! I know you've got a thing for the 25 cal stuff, keep the pictures coming I really like them too. Sounds like a nice rifle in the makings.
