Did anyone else see the article in Rifle Shooter where they loaded 22 and 25-gr. bullets from JRP Custom and went over 4000 fps? Has anyone used these bullets before? I have called the contact number to JRP given in the magazine several times but get no answer. I'm really curious as to the BC of those bullets. The JRP bullets are actually longer and more streamlined than the 35-gr. V-Max next to it. Would it be possible that the JRP's actually have a good BC while being so light in weight? Thanks.
Geo..If you find anymore info plaese post it here..I shoot the 22 Epperson Cricket..which is a 25ACP necked to 22 and those lightweight bullets would help me get over the 2000fps mark, might even get to the 2250 pace.

This should find at least 6 threads which contain info on it.
As far as miserly on powder..yep...at 2.5 grains per load (Usin 231 Using AA Nitro-100 it's even more so at 2.2 grains), that's several thousand loads per pound. And recoil is comparable to a 22mag, and since it's powered by faster powder, the report is less. At least from a 22 inch barrel anyway.
I haven't thought about cast bullets yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't work. By the way the two bullets loaded in cases in the picture are the Rem 45gr HP and the Hornady 35 gr V-max..the Hornady works great..the Rem doesn't work at all..even with 1/2 loads it will blow primers in my rifle..now the 45gr Hornady works pretty well with no pressure signs at all. Go figure.
I have 200 25 gr. bullets and the JRP reloading manual on order right now for my T/C .22 Hornet. I asked about the 19 gr. that he is working on and was told they will be ready in about a month for sale. The bullets are $20.00 a hundred moly-coated or $18.00 uncoated shipping in the U.S. is $5.00 for up to 500 bullets and the manual is $15.00. Supposedly he is using Calhoon jackets for all his bullets. Will post my results.

If you just want bullets, then I'd say the ones Dennis mentions would be the way to go. However, if you like to "tinker" DIY cast or swagged bullets sound like fun. Heck you could even pull some 22LR heads and give them a try! After all a home-brew custom rifle and calibre deserve home-brew custom bullet as well!!:-)

Sure thing, friend Mats. P has been asking how you were doing. I just finished the prelim sketches on a better trigger for the Rom. As for the bullets..well the Hornadys measured .224 as well (Except for the 0.222 40 gr Jet flat point, and of course they worked well). I figured that the jacket was harder and harder to engrave on the Rem bullets. I noticed that it was easier to deform the Hornadys with the seating stem. Just an observation though. But you are right...neither of them is 0.221 either..Rimfire bore barrel
