Appears to be good news. One of my custom rifle makers in Montana and his wife, are former employees of Cooper. He was their stock maker and she did custom checkering.
Nice to see. Coopers are wonderful rifles but I’d never consider buying one after Dan Cooper very publicly supported and endorsed Barack Obama back in 2012. All I could think of was ‘an enemy among us’ after that.

This will be the second "new" owner since Dan Cooper departed. You want to hold a grudge with the current owners and employees even though Dan Cooper left roughly 10 years ago?
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
My Cooper 57M is the best bolt .22 I've ever owned. I know there are some somewhat more accurate, but for pretty, reliable, and accurate, it's the Cooper.
I have two Coopers that are essentially one hole rifles...with just about anything, a .223 Rem. and a 270 Win. Just bought a Christensen .300WM and haven't got it yet but kinda feeling a little buyers remorse and just went ahead and bit the bullet an got another Cooper.
