Took my 6-284 to the range a couple of days ago and shot this group at 200 yards.

Needless to say, I didn't shoot anymore!

Rifle is a Savage 112 with a Shilen barrel.
Using Lapua 6.5x284 brass necked down to 6mm, WLR primer, 105 gr Berger VLD's and Retumbo.

Wowzer, cj! At 200 yards, group smaller than a dime. That’s incredible!!

I’d classify that rifle ‘not for sale’.

Congrats on your rifle and your shooting. tu2 beer

Thanks Surefire.

It may have been a freak occurrence. I will go back to the range soon and find out.

I haven't shot this rifle in 4 or 5 years.

If I go to Wyoming next year after antelope, I will need to take it along. I've had this rifle for 8 or 10 years and haven't shot anything with it yet.

And yes, it is not for sale. Smiler

Thanks.

I think it must have been a fluke. Went back to the range yesterday and shot a group of about .750" at 200. Regardless I am well pleased with this load.

That is satisfying.
Once many years ago i had a stock model 70 in 7mm STW, it would Shoot groups like that. But i got tired of going through so much powder.
