Quick update on my project. Got the barrel from zdrive about 2 weeks ago, ordered an action wrench and a headspace gauge from Midway, built a barrel vise. Installed the barrel last weekend and headspace checks about .015" short so reamer is in route. I opened up the barrel channel a little on the original stock and bedded the barreled action this evening. Dies, mounts & rings are in hand. I'll post again with range results. -
