My daughter bought my son in law a Ruger .204 for his birthday. He works back and forth out of state and finally had a chance to shoot it. He said his first three shots at 300 yards were within 1/4" but he shot 8 more rounds and the whole group was under 3 inches. He had also bought an old Bausch & Lomb Rochester New York made 15X60 spotting scope and he said he could easily see the holes at 300 yards.

Wow

This must be one special son in law. marksman combined with out of this world vison, you daughter is one lucky gal.
30 cal bullet holes at 300 yards with a 15 power scope will be challenging for most folks. FS

fasteel--the scope is a zoom from 15-60x I suspect he had it on 60 not 15. He is a very good marksman.

my best group to date with my CZ 527 .204 was 5 shots @ 200yds that could be covered with a dime. I haven't been able to replicate it since though. The rifle is certainly more accurate than I am.
With my spotting scope set to 45X it is hard to see the groups at 300yds from most any of my calibers.

This is the best 311 yard group I've gotten with my 204 Ruger.
