How much enlargement to the diameter of a case's primer pocket, before accuracy suffers? I am particularly interested in the 22 Hornet.

You don't have an accuracy issue, you have a usable brass issue. When the primer pocket has stretched to the point where your primers seat with little or no resistance, its time to dump them. I have never seen a correlation between loss of accuracy and enlarged primer pockets. [Big Grin]

The Hornet is designed to operate at pressures that should NEVER enlarge a primer pocket. If your's are stretching, you are well beyond the Hornet pressure envelope.

Accuracy deteriorates rapidly when the barrel separates from the receiver.
