Talked to Kimber, talked to Shooting Sports Wholesale. Kimber is no longer chambering the 260 Rem. Better get them while you can;;; if you can find one. I checked several on-line dealers where their sites said they had them in stock. Several calls later and all said they had to order them from.....you guessed it.. Kimber or Shooting Sports Wholesale. So, I ordered a twin to my daughter's Rem 700 CDL SF Limited Edition in 260 Rem. His and Her's. Alan

The cartridge choice would not be nearly enough for me to have to take a rem. in place of a Kimber. A 7mm-08 would do about the same thing. Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says. When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like! Do that with your optics.

I honor and use Remingtons for formal target shooting. I gallery shoot a 40X .22 LR, 40X free rifle and a Hepburn Scheutzen. Its just for hunting I prefer the CRF of the M70 type rifle that also has that fabulous three position safety. Now that I am older I use Kimbers the same as they weigh less. To each his own. Be well.
