Just got in my Tiger Cat. Thinking of the right scope, don't want to overpower the 'scope' of the rifle...posted for scope advice in the optics forum...I think she's a beaut!

Now that is a flat-out gorgeous piece! Is that a laminated stock?

Perfect! Looks like real wood to me. Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too! Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

Thanks guys. TJ, you are right. It is hard to tell at all sometimes that they are laminated, it is vertical laminates, on this one if you look at the bottom of the stock, i.e. if you were looking at the mag box, you can actually see the lamination pretty clearly on this one. It is still attractive IMO. I have some other Serengeti's where it is damn hard to see it even when looking at the 'bottom' of the stock. I need to get some lighting where the flash isn't needed and so harsh, but it actually looks even better in natural lighting. The metal is a 'Titanium Blue' Cerrakote.

That is NICE! I have a number of small action Sakos and most of them carry a 3-9 Leupold Compact (recently retooled as "Ultralight"). It's a great scope that is a wonderful match for the little actions.
