My new CZ 527 american in 22 hornet is here
It is beautiful
Fit and finish are great.
I topped it with a Redfield 3-12x44.
It's probably too windy to zero it very good, but I've taken the rest of the day off,and I'm at least going to shoot it.
Later,
Mike

Okay,
No recoil,no noise, shoots right where you point it.
I could only use a 75 yard range today with a 25 mph crosswind.
Got .75" with factory Remington 45 gr. softpoints.
I think I've found a keeper

Great choice on the 527. Have you worked up any handloads yet? I bought the same thing a couple months ago. I couldn't resist the beautiful piece of wood that it had. I have had good luck with Hornady Vmax, in both 35 & 40 grain, using Lil' Gun. A superb shooter!

Thanks for the info. Just picked up a 527 in .221 Fireball, local gunshop has a used one in .22 Hornet that's tempting me.

Play with it for a while, then ream it to K-Hornet. It has the set trigger right?
