Why doesn't Sierra make the GameKing HPBT in 6.5mm? Bummer, as it is a good, low cost, accurate deer bullet. We should start a campaign to get Sierra to release a HPBT deer bullet in 26 cal. What weight would be ideal.......120g?

My book shows an 120 6.5 Mk and a 140 6.5 MK.

I agree. I think they should come out with the 120 HPBT GameKing as they did with the 308 165 and the 7mm version. They are certainly different from the MKs and quite effective on game as well. Nothing against the MKs, they are great bullets, but the styling is very different as to nose configuration and core hardness.

Weight should be about 5 grains more than the .257 bullet of the same design. The Sierra HPBT hunting bullets are gaining a good reputation.

Speaking of 6.5's, on the Speer site I see they are going to make a 6.5, 90 or 95 grain (can't remember) TNT varmint bullet. The .257 TNT is sure accurate in my .250 Savage.
