Savage said it will have their "basic" trigger, and it uses a pinned barrel, which is not an issue unless you want to change to something different.
If it goes over well, then maybe they'll expand the cartidge offerings!

Savage has a new model 40 varmint gun - laminated stock with heavy blued barrel. Has anyone seen one? It looks like the action is from a rimfire?? If you have seen one what do you think - plus/minus etc? Thanks.
