Anybody tried this bullet on game???

I have shot it out of a 22/6mm. Accuracy was 1.5moa, not good for this rifle, and performance was OK. The Barnes 70gr TSX is 500% better all around. The Scir. basically holds together and retains 70% of its weight. Finished bullet diameter is'nt great, 29-35 caliber, compared to the TSX at .50 cal. I dont know how availability or shipping is in Aust. but you are welcome to have my leftovers if you want them.

I tried the .243 version and have moved on. Never got it to shoot as well as the gun shot many other loads. Apparently, they shoot great if you find the right powder and seating depth but if you don't, they leave something to be desired.

You may also wish to take a look at the 75 gr. Hornady Vmax. It's supposed to be a varmint bullet, but I've pressed it into service on feral dogs, with good results. FWIW, Dutch.

I was planning on trying it in a 22-06. It shoots the 70TSX into tiny holes....hmm

I shoot the 70 TSX in the 22/6mm and a fast twist 223 both on deer and hogs with great success. I killed 10 deer with the the 223 and 2 300# hogs with the 22/6mm this year. All were one shot kills and nothing went more than a few yards. Even at hopped up velocities the 70 TSX kept all its petals hitting ribs and shoulder in the hogs.
