Was at the range the other day (just like every other day) and there was a guy with a Savage 10 FCP-K in .223 Rem. This rifle is incredible! If I didn't see it for myself I would have never ever believed it! He was honestly grouping .25 @ 100/Yrds in 8 shot groups! He was developing loads and said he was still looking for the sweet one In any event, gave me a new outlook on Savage!

Yup, I've owned a few Savages and still have some, too.

Real sleepers. Not everyone is particularly enamoured with the Savage's looks but WTH - they shoot fantastic.

Not that the rest of the chamberings aren't accurate as well; but between .308 Winchester & .223 Remington I think Savage have got that one down pat.

Well I ordered one today(Savage 10 FCP-K in .223). I can't have this guy out-shooting my $2,800.00 AI. If it shoots better than my AI, I will honestly 86 my AI and start looking towards Savage! Who ever said "that just because it costs more,...doesn't make it better" has a strong point!
