GDOGNew Kimber 84 Montana
I just got my new Kimber 84 Montana.
This thing is cool. I have lightweight talley low mounts and a Zeiss conquest 2.5-8 scope. It weighs 6.25lbs without ammo.
This is an amazing package that makes my Ruger ultralight feel like a log.
I will report back after shooting. Let's hope I got a good one and it shoots!

Love that Zeiss as well, currently run them on a .308 and a.338 Win Mag.

GDOG...and she shoots!
Nothing great the first day out, maybe 1.5"---but good enough to know it's not all over the place. Packing up and sending off for paint and cerakote.

safari-lawyerI have one in 300 WSM also with the Zeiss 2.5 to 8 Conquest mounted in Talley one piece ring/bases. It makes for a nice, light combo. With factory ammo it is not a MOA gun, but it is plenty accurate for a lightweight hunting rifle.

DWright7-08 and .243 here. Mine would not do better then about 1-1/2" until I switched to a Barnes TSX and IMR 4350 Then they both produced sub 1/2" at 100.
Cheers!

GDOGPaint will be black and OD green webbing, on dark grey. Matte black cerakote.

RockdocGDOG sounds great. I still have to select a colour for the Cerakote.
Mine shoots three to four bullets touching, with 1 or 2 fliers in a five shot group. I am hoping bedding will sort that out.
