My older neighbor has offered me his new in the box Sig 516 at a super price which I'm thinking about buying. Does anyone have any real world experience with this gun? I would be using it for home defense (hoping not to have to use it!!). | ||

I have a Sig but not sure of the model. It is VERY accurate and VERY heavy. For home defense you might be better off with a Bushmaster, S&W etc. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. i have one of them. like peter says accurate, heavy, lousy trigger)typical ar) and not a good choice for home defense, but i don't like ar's for home defense | |||
